The raw fiber for this paper was harvested in Marin County, California which is just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. It is a text weight paper with a natural tone and feel. The fibers were beaten well making a tight rattle in the paper, great for fine printmaking and pen and ink. You’ll notice cattail is the same plant on our logo and tells the story of the Mission Creek marshland that was covered decades ago and where our paper mill now exists.
