Menu Paper
Naides is a Michelin star Filipino fine dining restaurant in San Francisco and they put the utmost thought into every aspect of their restaurant. What started out as them using our paper for their menu has evolved to us using their waste material such as egg cartons, pineapple tops, and herbs, to make inkjet printable paper for their menu. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the sheets are and they really add to the dining experience.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Pam for the past six months to customize paper for my business, and her craftsmanship is truly exceptional. She creates beautiful, unique paper from recycled materials like coffee filters, seaweed, and coffee bean bags, and you can feel the difference in the weight and texture the moment you pick it up. Her paper is not only beautiful and durable, but also prints beautifully—even on my inexpensive $50 printer!
Visiting her paper mill is an experience in itself; it feels like stepping into an art museum filled with fascinating materials, textures, and natural light. Pam is a talented artisan who is keeping the craft of papermaking alive while embracing sustainability, and she is truly one of the gems that makes San Francisco special.
